Apply for a Scholarship to the CNA Training Program

CNA Training Program class at The Independence CenterThe Independence Center CNA Training Program is offering scholarships to 38 CNA Training Program students thanks to funding from the Colorado Springs Health Foundation (CSHF). CSHF provides grants that target immediate health care needs and encourage healthy living for El Paso and Teller Counties.

Each scholarship from CSHF will pay $750 of the $950 tuition, leaving a total cost per student of $200.

Your application will require the submission of a 500 to 1000 word essay covering the following topics:
1: Why do you want to become a CNA?
2: What do you plan to accomplish with your CNA?

Interested applicants can apply by clicking on the “Enroll Now” button below. A payment of $200 is required with the scholarship application/enrollment form. There will be an in-person interview for all applicants applying for this scholarship.

Scholarship funds are available for students with training program start dates between June 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that students who are already sponsored through a sponsoring agency do not qualify for this scholarship.
