Students will learn how to build and emergency preparedness kit, how to create a communications plan with their Peer Support Network, and how to find information during a disaster. Students will complete the course with at least 75% of emergency plans in place.

When: Tuesdays in September from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Week One – Basics: What is an emergency? What are the different kinds of emergencies that could happen?

Week Two – Before an Emergency: Learn the steps of what to do before an emergency.

Week Three – During an Emergency: Learn the steps on what to do during an emergency.

Week Four – After an Emergency/Resources: Learn the steps on, what to do after an emergency, and about resources in the area.
