Help Finding A Job
Whether you’re seeking your first job or re-entering the workforce after a period of time, The Independence Center (The IC) can help you get ready. The IC is here to help identify your needs, interests and opportunities for returning to work. Employment Support staff can assist with filling out applications, making or polishing your résumé, attending job fairs, mock interviews, job coaching and referrals to community services that may benefit you. Additionally, The IC can connect you with a variety of employment readiness classes that teach you how to:
- Create resumes and cover letters
- Find a job and dress for success
- Mock interviews
- Meet job expectations
- Communicate with your supervisor
- Solve problems in the workplace
