Outreach Program
Bringing our services to you.
Finding disability-related resources in rural areas can be a challenge, and securing transportation and traveling to Colorado Springs isn’t always possible. The Independence Center’s Outreach Program removes these barriers by bringing many of our Independent Living services directly to people with disabilities in surrounding counties and communities.
Our Outreach Specialists are available to meet with you in person, either at a designated location or at your home. With a unique understanding of resources in your area, they can connect you or a loved one with services and information to help you live independently in your own home and community.
Available Independent Living Services
Through our Outreach Program, we provide a number of Independent Living services, including:
- Advocacy
- Assistive Technology
- Benefits Assistance
- Emergency Preparedness
