The largest outdoor, therapeutic recreation program for people with disabilities in the world. It offers seasonal activities such as snow skiing, snowboarding, sailing, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, and more.  It also offers training ranging from beginner to competitor.  Adapted equipment is available for over 45 various types of disabilities.

Golden Access Pass to all national parks.  This entitles persons with disabilities to gain access to parks for free and pay 50% on use fees (camping and parking).

Men’s and Woman’s Plus Household memberships includes a regular membership for an additional adult and children living in the same household. For more information about the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region’s new Income Based Rate Scale, please visit the Member Service Desk at your YMCA. Offers swim classes for physically challenged individuals.  Basket lift is available for pool access.

 

WILDERNESS ON WHEELS

A model wilderness access facility located in the mountains 60 miles southwest of Denver. It offers fishing, cookouts, and overnight camping in an accessible natural environment.  WOW is open from April to mid-October at no charge. Dogs are prohibited and donations are requested.
