Lisa Harrison is a Life Skills Training Manager and Transition Coordinator with Mi Casa Transitional Services, Inc., where she empowers individuals with disabilities to transition from skilled nursing facilities into their own homes and develop the skills needed to live safely and independently in the community.

Lisa earned her Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, specializing in working with individuals with disabilities. Following a spinal cord injury in 1998 that resulted in incomplete quadriplegia and the use of a wheelchair, she has combined her professional experience with nearly three decades of lived experience to advocate for accessibility, independence, and inclusion.

Passionate about helping others achieve their highest quality of life, Lisa’s perspective is shaped by education, personal experience, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys adaptive sports, writing, exploring new experiences, and spending time with her children and family.
